Painting in Progress

I've been managing to sneak in time to make art. I've been working on an acrylic painting of a Jack Russell Terrier chasing a ball. You can see the faint outline of where I plan to put the ball by the rear leg. I'll post more once I've progressed. Have a beautiful day!

A home should be a composition in love. It should reflect your travels, dreams, accomplishments, and values in beauty. The first step in creating a home of warmth, uniqueness, and of love, is to buy what you like. Don't buy artwork that will be better investments down the road. A home about love is about buying what you love and living with it now. After you've take the courage to commit to buying a piece of art. The second step is finding the way to display art in your home. Here are some excellent examples from Elle Decor's feature on fashion designer, Michel Klein. I found these images from a completely fantastic website called Hall Ready, which is dedicated to the art of display.

Why limit your walls to one image? Display multiple works on a single wall. A timeless look that harkens back to the Art Salons of Paris to modern catalogs for big chain stores like Pottery Barn or West Elm.

If you have built-in spaces, like above a fireplace or book shelves, use this as a creative space of display. Share your love. Make your home your own expression of love.
